Welcome to the Alness / Invergordon Health Centre Homepage

We are open 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday, and we are closed over the weekend. Appointments are available during the hours listed below. Once a week we have also an additional "late surgery" at the Invergordon Health Centre (6pm - 9pm). To see a doctor or nurse please telephone us or come into the surgery to book an appointment.

Opening times:

Remember that appointments are normally for less than 10 minutes. If you feel you have to discuss several problems, book a double appointment.

If you feel you need to be seen urgently, ask the receptionist to speak to the duty doctor on call. The doctor will then phone you back and, if appropriate, arrange an appointment with the most suitable health care professional for you.

If you have sustained an injury (e.g., skin cuts, suspected broken bone, etc.), please attend the Minor Injuries Unit. This unit is located at the Invergordon County Community Hospital building in Invergordon. It is open from 9am - 6pm during the week. Outwith these hours and on the weekend, please call NHS 24 (see below).

If you cannot attend an appointment, please phone us at least 1 hour before so that we are able to give the appointment to another patient. Not attending an appointment without informing us beforehand affects other patients and our practice. If this happens repeatedly, it will have consequences for yourself too!
